About ZLP

The Zimbabwe Life Project is a charitable organization founded by mental health professionals dedicated to improving mental health services through international collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Founded by Lucia Vambe

Lucia Vambe, Practice Development Lead Nurse and founder of ZLP, was honoured during the King Charles Coronation celebrations in Harare in May 2023 for her outstanding work in mental health advocacy and international partnerships.

Founded in 2018, ZLP brings together mental health nurses, doctors, and therapists in the UK who share one aim: to develop meaningful skills exchange programs marked by participatory exchanges of knowledge, skills, and experiences.
